1996 Inorganic Pigments business of Bayer AG purchased Hodgsons Dye Agencies from private ownership and relocated inorganic pigments business out of Bayer into the operation at the current site and legal entity at Homebush Bay, Sydney.
1999 Changed name to Bayer Hodgsons to reflect changing nature of the business and integration of Bayer business units into the operation alongside inorganic pigments business.
